Sacraments123 makes learning the Holy Sacraments as easy as 1, 2, and 3.

This App is the first of a series of fun apps geared for children, parents, teachers and those with special needs.
Sacraments123 for the iPad was created to teach the sacraments using a series of matching games, including awards for the correct match. Saraments123 features audio, videos, sound effects, memory games, and lots more. It provides an ideal reference tool and is appropriate for all ages.

MEMORY. Children, parents and teachers will love playing the Memory games. The app includes three distinct and engaging memory games for Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. After each correct match an audio description pops-up to explain the match. Once all the matches are completed, the correct order of each sacrament is revealed, along with a certificate of completion. The games reset for additional enjoyment and learning. Studies show that children learn through repetition. By playing with the app, children and adults will learn the tenets of the Catholic religion that will last them a life-time.

REWARDS. Once all the matches are completed, per game, children have the option to type in their name and email it to their religious education teacher. This is a great way for students to be acknowledged for their accomplishments and for teachers to monitor and reward performance.

TOUR OF THE MASS. You will find an audio and video section of the Mass, depicting real people. Each part of the Mass is explained in a warmhearted and captivating manner. There are several videos to choose from, each one representing a different part of the Mass. Tour of The Mass offers a unique and compelling way to introduce the Mass and reinforces worship.

SYMBOLS. You will find a section of all the symbols used in the liturgy. This symbol glossary adds to the understanding and retention of the sacraments.

TIPS FOR TEACHERS. Teachers are encouraged to use this app as part of their curriculum. Teachers will find tips and lesson plans on how to incorporate the app into their classrooms.
